KRAFTON India today confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day will swing into BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) as part of the upcoming 4.5 Update, available from July 30 to September 14, 2026. Timed to the film’s theatrical release, the collaboration marks the return of Marvel to BGMI – and one of the most ambitious gameplay transformations in the game’s history, as the Battlegrounds evolve into a vertical, high-mobility urban playground inspired by Spider-Man’s world.This is not a cosmetic crossover.
It reshapes how BGMI is played – shifting the core experience from where you stand to how fast you can move, blending superhero fantasy with BGMI’s signature survival gameplay.
A New City Rises Over Erangel
Familiar zones of Erangel undergo a dramatic transformation as parts of the map evolve into a modern, Spider-Man-inspired urban district built for vertical combat. Players will experience:
Skyline Plaza – a brand-new high-rise district replacing traditional combat zones like Gatka and Mansion
A dense vertical city – rooftop platforms, elevated walkways, and fast traversal routes designed around a single idea: go up, not just forward
Skyline Ziplines – placed across the urban zone to let players move rapidly between rooftops and maintain momentum through combat In this reimagined battleground, movement becomes as important as survival – and the skyline itself becomes the new frontline.
