Realme 6 with 64MP quad camera setup officially confirmed, teaser image revealed

Realme 6 is expected with MediaTek Helio G90 SoC, Realme UI and a large battery capacity”

After the launch of the Realme X50 Pro on Monday in India, Realme appears to be launching the Realme 6 series in the country soon. Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India, posted a photo of herself at Bollywood superhero Salman Khan on Tuesday. The photo was taken on the 64 MP AI quad camera from Realme 6 according to the watermark. This confirms that the Realme 6 will soon be launched in India and that the smartphone will have a 64MP quad-camera setup with high resolution. The tweet mentioned “the best of Entertainment World”, which could mean that the Realme 6 could come with narrow edges, content integration or a full HD + panel. Unfortunately, the tweet does not reveal much about the handset.

Realme 6 teaser image has been revealed with Salman Khan showing it.The below tweet mentions it-

Realme 6 launch in India is expected soon
The Realme 6 was recently spotted at Flipkart in India, suggesting that the launch could be around the corner. The Wi-Fi Alliance list showed that the handset would be the first to be supplied with the MediaTek Helio G90 processor. It is also expected to launch with Android 10-based Realme UI and dual-band Wi-Fi support. The Helio G90 chipset is equipped with MediaTek’s HyperEngine that is said to improve gaming and performance. It includes a network engine and the ability to connect to both Wi-Fi bands.

Again, the highlight of the Realme 6 is expected to be its quad camera setup. The smartphone will have a 64MP head sensor, which would be a significant shock to the 12MP sensor on the Realme 5. The quad camera setup could also include an ultra wide angle lens, a macro lens and a depth sensor for portrait shooting, but this is just speculation for now. The smartphone is also expected to have a traditional fingerprint sensor for security and a USB Type-C port for connectivity.

The Realme 6 probably has fast charging support and a large battery capacity. Regarding pricing, the handset could cost around Rs 10,000, which is in line with the cost of earlier models in the series. In addition to the Realme 6, the company could also announce the Realme 6 Pro and Realme 6i in the future, just like the Realme 5 series.
