Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition running MIUI 12 officially launching on April 27 in China

Xiaomi Mi 10, which is the flagship phone is getting a lighter version in the name of Mi 10 Youth Edition. The device will launch in China on April 27. Xiaomi had already launched the Mi 10 Lite 5G for the European market last month. The Chinese Mi 10 Youth Edition is confirmed to sport quad camera with 50x zoom feature and will also be the first device to run MIUI 12. The company has put out an official post on Weibo, confirming the same.
The Mi 10 Youth Edition is expected to come with Snapdragon 765G SoC, which means it support 5G connectivity. The device will have a quad camera setup on the rear which contains 48MP primary sensor plus an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro unit, and finally a 2MP depth sensor. There will be a 6.57-inches FHD+ AMOLED display on the top with a waterdrop notch for the placement of the selfie camera, which is of 16 megapixels.

the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition is tipped to arrive in four memory versions – 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. As for the colors, the Mi 10 Youth Edition will be made available in 5 colors – Black, White Peach, Blueberry Mint, Milk Green, and Peach Grapefruit.

The MIUI 12 will succeed the MIUI 11 and will still be based on Android 10. Mi 10 Youth Edition will be the first smartphone to run the new UI. Xiaomi has started closed beta trial of the MIUI 12 and public release can be expected in late 2020.

The launch of the Mi 10 Youth Edition or Mi 10 Lite for the Indian market is not confirmed yet and we expect it would not launch as we did not see any of the previous models launching in the country.
