Xiaomi’s MIUI Twitter account has tweeted an invite to the MIUI 12 Global launch event. The event is scheduled to hold on May 19 at 8 PM GMT +8 and will see the Chinese firm reveal all the details of the custom ROM.
MIUI 12 was first announced at the Mi 10 Youth Edition launch event in April. Xiaomi later released MIUI China Closed Beta update in China with a stable update expected in June. The tech giant has also commenced recruitment of MIUI 12 pilot testers for the Redmi K20 series in India. Thus, with this latest announcement, we expect to find out the global release details of the MIUI 12 on the launch date. The China and global ROMs of MIUI usually have different release dates.
The new MIUI 12 brings Dark Mode 2.0, revamped control centre, battery app, file manager, Notes app, calendar app, and more. It also comes with new themes, Always on Display and several features. Read our launch article to find out more details of the new ROM.
