The Motorola One Fusion+ price in India is set at Rs 16,999 for the sole 6GB RAM and 128GB storage onboard. The handset comes in Moonlight White and Twilight Blue colour options and is available for sale via Flipkart.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, on the other hand, has been priced starting at Rs 16,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The phone’s 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage options will set you back to Rs 18,499 and Rs 19,999 respectively. The phone can be fetched via flash sale from the company’s official website and Amazon.in in Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black colour options.
Design and display
Motorola One Fusion+ ships with a pop-up selfie camera design, with a notch-less 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel that bears FHD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The handset also features HDR10+ and DCI-P3 colour gamut support. The back of the phone is made from polycarbonate material and houses vertically-aligned quad cameras in the top left corner and fingerprint scanner at the centre. The Motorola One Fusion+ has a dedicated button for Google Assistant with standard volume rockers and power buttons on the right spine. A 3.5mm headphone jack along with a Type-C port and a speaker grille is placed at the bottom
The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, in contrast, flaunts a dot-notch 6.67-inch full HD+ display of LCD variety with 20:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. It also comes clad in a polycarbonate body and features quad rear cameras, though in a squarish module. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, housed underneath the power button on the right spine along with volume buttons. Type-C port, headphone jack, and speaker grille are all housed at the bottom edge.
Chipset and software
At the helm of Motorola One Fusion+ lies Snapdragon 730G chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB user-expandable storage. There is no other RAM and storage variant of the phone. Software-wise, the handset boots near-stock version of Android 10 out of the box.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has a slightly better Snapdragon 720G SoC ticking at its core. This is paired with 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage options. The storages are further expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card. The handset comes pre-loaded with MIUI 11 atop Android 10 to take care of its software side of things
