Hi friends, After weeks of leaks, Xiaomi has finally confirmed the Mi MIX 4 launch date. The company revealed through a Weibo post today that the Mi MIX 4 will be announced at 7:30 PM (local time) on Aug. 10. Multiple reports have revealed that the next generation MIX device will be the company’s first smartphone to feature an in-display camera. It is believed that the Xiaomi phone with the 2016118C model number that was recently seen at Chinese certification platforms like 3C and TENAA could be the Mi MIX 4 flagship. The 3C certification revealed that the device may come with a 120W fast charging. Rumors have it that the device will also carry support for 70W or 80W wireless charging. The TENAA listing of the device has only revealed that it could be available in variants such as 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. Reports have suggested that its highest variant may offer 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Rumors have it that the company may use Micron’s LPPDR5 uMCP solution on the device. It goes without saying that the Mi MIX 4 will continue to offer a truly bezeless experience since it will come equipped with an in-screen camera. Due to the incorporation of the new selfie camera tech, the Mi MIX 4 may only carry support for Full HD+ resolution. However, it is expected to offer a better viewing experience than conventional 1080p panels.
