OPPO Reno13 series to launch soon in India with two variants—Reno13 and Reno13 Pro—with IP66, IP68 and IP69 for all-round water-resistant and durability
OPPO India has unveiled its OPPO Reno13 series, expected to launch in January 2025. The series will be available in two variants with two colours each: The Reno13 Pro in Graphite Grey and Mist Lavender and the Reno13 in Ivory White and Luminous Blue. All colour variants of the Reno13 series showcase an exquisite ergonomic design with rugged durability that is a testament to OPPO’s high-standard craftsmanship.
Elegant new look
The fresh new look of the OPPO Reno13 series comprises a blend of matte and glossy finish that highlights OPPO’s expertise in material design. The unique textures on the Reno13 and Reno13 Pro are achieved through grayscale exposure laser direct writing – a technique that creates an interplay of light and shadow to shift colours when viewed at different angles, giving all variants a glossy premium appearance.
Exclusively designed for India, the Luminous Blue colour variant with the OPPO Reno13, features a glowing effect around the camera module—achieved through offset printing and reflective coating—to result in a subtle, glowing outline. And the Ivory White variant displays a gentle light effect that creates the illusion of translucent butterfly wings fluttering to life.
The Reno13 Pro offers equally stunning colour options: The Mist Lavender variant with its subtle purple tone evokes a sense of calm and bold sophistication. While the Graphite Grey colour embodies modern aesthetics with an elegant matte finish and subtle glossy accents to create a refined look that highlights professional style.
Premium Flagship Design
The Reno13 series features an Aerospace-grade aluminium frame that adds to its sleek, premium look. The Reno13 series boasts a remarkably slim and lightweight design – the Pro variant is just 7.55mm thin and weighs 195g. And the Reno13 further refines this design, with the Ivory White model measuring 7.24mm thin and the Luminous Blue model at 7.29mm, both maintaining a lightweight 181g form factor.
Additionally, the ergonomically-designed Reno13 series features a One-piece Sculpted Glass Back, and on the front – Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The Reno13 Pro flaunts an ultra-slim 1.62mm bezels and a 93.8% screen-to-body ratio, while the Reno13 offers 1.81mm bezels and a 93.4% screen-to-body ratio. This results in an almost borderless OLED display for an immersive viewing experience.
All-Round Armour Architecture
While adding to the phones’ flagship-level elegance, the high-end Aerospace-Grade aluminium frame also offers robust protection for the screen and internal components to make the devices highly resistant to drops.
At the core of the Reno13 series design is the All-Round Armour architecture that combines tough exterior protection—featuring a durable screen, back cover and alloy frame—with Sponge Bionic Cushioning inside. The series boasts three ratings of dust ingress and water resistance. It is IP66 rated for splash resistance; its IP68 rating certifies it for immersion in fresh water up to a depth of 1.5 metres—tested up to 2 metres in OPPO labs—for 30 minutes, and it is IP69 rated for its resistance to high-pressure, high-temperature water jets up to 80 degree Celsius.
The OPPO Reno13 series boasts flagship design with its One-piece Sculpted Glass Back, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, Aerospace-grade aluminium frame and its All-Round Armour to offer a premium experience that is both stylish and durable.
