Realme is possibly having its last launch event for 2019 on December 17 where it is going to launch the Realme X2 as well as its first completely wireless earbuds in the Indian market. The Realme Buds Air are quite hyped up with its AirPods-inspired design but the Realme X2 is the main launch for the event. Originally known to come as the Realme XT730G, the device is known to come with some massive upgrades. However, the prices for the device have been leaked ahead of the launch.

Thanks to Ishan Agarwal – a popular tipster on Twitter- the prices of the Realme X2 have been leaked before the device launches tomorrow. Agarwal shared an image on Twitter from the event rehearsal with the slide that shows the prices of two variants of the Realme X2. There will only be two variants of the Realme X2 in India with different RAM but same storage.

The Realme X2 base variant will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, which will go on sale for Rs 19,999. The high-end variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will go on sale for Rs 20,999. Realme will also bundle the device with some offers from Reliance Jio and Mobikwik. Sadly, the prices for the Realme Buds Air haven’t been revealed yet.

Given that the photo is taken at the rehearsal of the launch, this is most possibly the price the Realme X2 is coming at. At Rs 19,999, the Realme X2 will be the most affordable phone in India using the Snapdragon 730G chipset. The Snapdragon 730G is a gaming-oriented chipset and has been in use with a few phones in India. The Redmi K20, which sells at Rs 19,999 in India, uses the Snapdragon 730 chip.
However, at this price, the Realme X2 isn’t replacing the Realme XT, given that it’s Rs 3,000 more expensive than the Realme XT. Realme has already revealed the three major upgrades it is offering in the Realme X2 over the Realme XT and all of them are substantial. The Snapdragon 730G chip is the biggest upgrade offering more performance over the Snapdragon 712 of the Realme XT. Then there’s the faster 30W VOOC 4.0 charging that should fill up the battery faster than the older 20W system.
Realme has also upgraded the front camera to a 32-megapixel unit but the rear camera setup remains unchanged. The Realme X2 also retains the 4000mAh battery and the 6.4-inch AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
