Hi friends , According to the latest post from a content moderator on the Mi Community, Xiaomi has started testing a new build of software for the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro. Both the Redmi Note 7 variants are being tested with MIUI 11 based on Android 10. However, Xiaomi is only testing the Chinese variants of the MIUI 11 ROM in beta and it could take a while before Xiaomi rolls it out for other regions.

Xiaomi has been proactive with releasing software updates for its flagship models this year. The Redmi K20 Pro was among some of the few non-Google Android phones to get the Android 10 update. The Poco F1 also followed with a fast Android 10 update. However, Xiaomi’s bread-and-butter models are yet to see the latest version of Android, with 2019 ending in a few days. That said, Xiaomi might be looking release the Android 10 update for its Redmi Note 7 series phones in early 2020.
Hence, once the stable Chinese update rolls out, Xiaomi may test the stable variant of MIUI 11 based on Android and it could be a few months before the Indian variants of the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro get the stable Android 10 update. Xiaomi is yet to give an official timeline for releasing the Android 10 update for these Redmi models. Additionally, nothing is said about the Redmi Note 7S.
While the Android 10 update is yet to rollout for the affordable Redmi smartphones, Xiaomi has been rolling out the MIUI 11 update for all its supported phones in India. MIUI 11 based on Android 10 is being rolled out for the Redmi K20 series and the Poco F1. Rest of all Xiaomi phones are already getting the MIUI 11 update based on Android 9 Pie.
