Today, October 21, the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro are all set to go on sale in the country for the first time. The sale of both the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro will kick off at 12noon on Amazon India website, Mi.com and Mi Home store. At the launch of the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro Xiaomi announced that the phones will soon be available across other offline stores across the country.
In India, the Redmi Note 8 Pro comes in three colours — Gamma Green, Halo White, and Shadow Black. All the colour variants of the Note 8 will be available during the sale. The Redmi Note 8 comes in four colour options — Neptune Blue, Moon Light White, Space Black and Cosmic Purple. All the colour options of the Redmi Note 8 Pro will be available for purchase today.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 comes in two variants. The base model includes 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. This model of the phone comes with price of Rs 9,999. The top-end model of the Redmi Note 8 includes 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. This model of the phone is priced at Rs 12,999. The Redmi Note 8 Pro, on the other hand, comes in three variants in India — 6GB RAM + 64GB at Rs 14,999, 6GB RAM + 128GB at Rs 15,999, 8GB RAM + 128GB at Rs 17,999.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie out of the box. Xiaomi has confirmed that the Note 8 Pro will be upgraded to MIUI 11 in December this year.
