WHATSAPP FOR ANDROID TO ADOPT IOS-LIKE DESIGN IN AN UPCOMING UPDATE

Hi friends,WhatsApp will roll out a major change to its Android interface. The change is aiming to make the navigation bar more accessible by moving it to the bottom of the screen, similar to what is already available on the iPhone. The Chats, Communities, Status, and Calls tabs will be more thumb accessible. While the icons for the camera, search, and settings will remain at the top right of the screen. The change was revealed by WABetaInfo, a specialized site that tracks all the interesting new features in the beta versions.

WhatsApp on Android will adopt an iOS style design
The new layout, that appears through two screenshots (light mode and dark mode), will offer a more consistent WhatsApp experience between Android smartphones and iPhones (iOS). The site claims that this new interface will be available in a future WhatsApp update. However, we do not know when, and it is not yet available for beta testers either. Users will have to wait patiently before knowing more about the release date of the update. It is important to note that users can move from one section to another of the application by swiping the screen with their thumb to the left or right. This navigation function will remain in place. Even with the bar moved down to the bottom of the screen.
