At the current time, WhatsApp is working on a new feature for its chat platform which will make the message search easier. Through this feature, users can search easily even 5 years old messages. Before that, some people often has the complaint that they could not find their old message and has to scroll a lot to find that.
The app will soon allow users to search messages by date. It means users can find messages of any time whether it is 5 years old. The report further state that the company is currently testing its new feature and it has hoped that testing of this feature will be successful. However, the launch date of this is not mentioned in this report or has not been announced by the company but the date of launch of this new search filter will be announced soon.
This feature is named ‘search by date’ and will have an icon like a calendar that will guide users to easily get the message. However, as always this feature will be launched for both android and iPhone users. At the present time, the search feature present in the app allows users to look for just a single message or only the message they want to find, but after this feature, many users will benefit.
