OPPO India and MediaTek today announced that the upcoming OPPO Find X10 Pro Max will be among the first smartphone globally to feature MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, at the MediaTek Tech Day in Delhi. The collaboration will bring next-generation processing capabilities and advanced on-device intelligence to the latest flagship smartphone lineup from OPPO. MediaTek is among the first companies to adopt the new 2nm process node. With the next generation of silicon now available in the Dimensity lineup, the Dimensity 9600 Pro will enable many transformative capabilities, combining flagship performance and power efficiency with advanced agentic AI experiences.

Improved Compute Performance:
Features a 2+3+3 All Big Core CPU design, delivering faster, more responsive experiences and a 61% reduction in multi-core power consumption. This architecture consists of two C2-Ultra cores with clock speeds up to 4.55GHz, three C2-Pro big cores at 4.35GHz, and three C2-Pro big cores at 3.1GHz, delivering up to 17% higher single-core and 15% higher multi-core performance over the previous generation.
Advanced AI Experiences:
The Dimensity 9600 Pro’s dual-NPU architecture and Dimensity Agentic AI Engine power next-generation on-device AI. This shifts AI from a passive responder to a proactive digital companion – one that intelligently perceives context, anticipates needs, and coordinates across apps securely.
Its 2nd-gen Super-Efficient NPU reduces always-on AI power consumption by 40%, while the NPU 1090 delivers 51% higher LLM prefill performance, 55% higher Token generation per watt*, and supports models up to 30B parameters, enabling smarter on-device AI.
Smoother Gaming:
Integrating the G2-Ultra NX GPU, the Dimensity 9600 Pro delivers up to 27% higher peak performance, 24% lower power consumption and 18% faster ray tracing, enabling console-grade gaming at up to 185fps.
MediaTek Dimensity Neural Graphics Architecture combines GPU and AI computing, while MediaTek HyperEngine optimizes gameplay for smoother, immersive, high-resolution gaming.
High-quality Imaging:
Dimensity 9600 Pro features the Imagiq 1290 ISP and AI Imaging Fusion Architecture, enabling advanced computational photography and content creation, with NPU-powered 60fps motion capture, 4K240 ultra-slow-motion video, 4K60 AI True Color Tone, 4K120 cinematic log and 17EV imaging.
Complementing the chipset’s advancements is OPPO’s proprietary Laminar Flow Engine, jointly developed by OPPO and MediaTek and making its debut with the Find X10 Series. By restructuring the underlying rendering architecture and coordinating it more closely with system scheduling, the technology is designed to deliver a better balance between system responsiveness and power consumption. It also helps accelerate app launches and maintain smooth, stable content loading during demanding scenarios, including rapid photo browsing.
